Job Stress
In lecture yesterday, we received a point that goes contrary to the conventional wisdom on the job stress of being a doctor. He said that we should not let ourselves be fooled into beleiving that we have more stress than everyone else and that this stress leads to substance abuse. He pointed out that most of our patients will be coming to us with much more job stress than we could imagine enduring and that nobody is able to achieve the income of a physician with so little stress.
