Spleen Grinding

At work today. Spleen comes in fresh from surgery. We grind it up to extract the cells. I take the spleen, cut it in chunks, put it in a grinder and produce what looks like a nice steak sauce. In my basement this would be criminal. In the lab it is just another day's work.

Last night. Serving a meal. Saw a woman with a black eye and split lip. Said her friend did it. Don't know what the hell is going on. Somebody hit her hard. And I'm pissed.

theme for the morning's walk to school: cars with blinkers in main roads stopped in the midst of traffic. one of these was even a CCF bus. not sure what was going on. i guess it's good that people are stepping out of the fast lane and able to just enjoy where they are, but hey, chester ave. is a good place to be clocked by a BMW.

so, i dozed off in class anyway after the energy drink. then i was wide awake later on when i was trying to calm down and go to sleep. i'll just skip buying it next time and go straight for the tattoo.
