Acts 8:36-38--As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?” And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. ---isn't this what sacraments are all about? signs of god's presence in the midst of our lives. baptised in a puddle. not an elaborate baptistry. jesus healed with spit. the disciples baptised with mud. made from the earth. to dust we shall return. ruach makes it holy.
